A TRICOLOURED WEEK
Since our children could not come to the school to celebrate India’s Independence day with us; we decided to have a week-long virtual celebration with them. We are excited to share some highlights with you:
Day 1
After hoisting our flag and singing the anthem together, we spent a few minutes making our own tricoloured drawing.

Day 2
We heard a real-time story from a grandmother who represented her school at the Red Fort when our flag was hoisted for the first time on 15th August 1947

Watch part 1 and part 2 of the story
Day 3
Our children wrote and recited their own poems about India

Day 4
We went on a virtual tour to Taj Mahal and Red Fort. And then we made our own tri-coloured sandwiches with Chef Mahesh!

Day 5
We ended the week-long celebration with a quiz competition and certificates for our bright children of tomorrow!
