On this Independence Day,

we all remember the years past.

In 1947, we were free from the British at last.

Are we now going the right way?

Why are the problems rising each day?

The strong spirit of our fighters we can only cherish,

when all the negativity from India will perish.

In 2021, let us together strive

to drive the darkness away.

Let us put an end to pollution, poverty and violence today
